Ingredients

2 packets of ground beef

Coconut oil (to grease)

1 onion (diced)

1 red capsicum (diced) (optional)

1/2 chutney (or to taste)

1 cup parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons garlic granules

1 1/2 cup tomato sauce or tomato paste

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 bay leaf (optional)

Cooked pasta

8 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup flour

3 cups whole milk

1 teaspoon salt

1 can diced tomatoes (optional)

Instructions

Sauté the onion and capsicum in some coconut oil or olive oil.

Add the ground beef to the onion mix and brown it. Once it is nice and brown, you can add the spices. If you would like, you can add whatever spices you would usually add to mince. We would usually add some cumin and turmeric.

After adding the spices, toss it together and give it a few more stirs on medium heat.

Then, add the tomato sauce, canned tomatoes, and chutney. Let simmer on low heat for a few minutes.

While the meat and sauce simmer, in a separate saucepan, add the butter and flour on medium heat and whisk together until melted or and combined. Add in the milk slowly while whisking until it is fully combined, then cook on low heat until thickened.

Let the milk mixture cool for about 10 minutes, then add in the salt, pepper, eggs and parmesan cheese.

Once the meat and the milk mixture is ready, get out a nice large oven safe dish and put the ready made pasta into it. then, add the meat/tomato mixture, and then add the sauce on top. Bake it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius uncovered for about 50-60 minutes, then serve.
