Tuna Dish
This is another quick go-to meal in our family, and, despite it's modest recipe, it is one of our family favourites and always a treat we look forward to. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
Ingredients
1 large tin tuna
1 packet of chips*
1 onion
Mixed frozen veggies (optional)
2 eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 + cups water (to get the right consistency)
Handful of grated cheese
3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise
Spices (salt, pepper, onion flakes, cumin, to taste
Instructions
First of all, get that packet of chips out and give a nice pound, until all of the chips are smashed to smithereens. If you have a younger sibling hanging around, you can get them to do that for you.
Now, mix all of the ingredients (don't forget the chips!) into a mixing bowl. Be careful with the water, as you want to add just enough to get the mixture to stick together.
Transfer the mixture into an oven safe baking dish and cover with the grated cheese.
Bake in the over for +- 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
Serve with some canned beetroot and enjoy!

*You can use plain salt chips or Honey Soy flavoured chips. Our favourite is usually the honey soy version!

NOTES: if you use the frozen vegetables, add less water as the water from the vegetables might make it a bit soggy.
